Introduction
Our sets of bobbins are mostly based on a mixture of traditional and new rhymes, with the occasional modification to fit onto the space available on a bobbin. Listed below is a description of each set, the painted motifs and what is actually pyrographed onto each bobbin. Each set is available spangled with beads to match the painted motifs.
A new Christmas Set for 2007, a pair of Ebony Bobbins spangled with pewter wreaths, decorated with coloured resin.
We also offer, for sale at 30p each, two different sized boxes.
Medium - displays up to 4 bobbins
Large - displays up to 8 bobbins.
These white padded boxes are suitable for packing sets of bobbins as a gift, or sending bobbins through the post - see Photograph.

Days of the Week
Each set of bobbins is painted with a stylized floral design in a choice of three colours : Blue, Mauve or Red and pyrographed with one line of :-
Monday's child is fair of face
Tuesday's child is full of grace

Friday's child is loving and giving
Saturday's child works hard for a living
But the child that is born on the Sabbath day

The Lord's Prayer
Each set of bobbins is painted with a stylized floral design in a choice of three colours : Blue, Mauve or Red and pyrographed with one line of :-
Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done
On earth, As it is in heaven
Give us this day, Our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil

Dolphins
